There are 2 main types of die cushion mounting. They are applicable for both signle and multiple cushion installations.

Bolster Plate Mounting

Bolster Plate Mounting is the most cost effective way to mount die cushion.

Press Bed Mounting

Press Bed Mounting is the most suitable when the bolster plate has to be removed often. It does not require demounting the die cushion to do so. Die Cushion is independent from the bolster plate.
This type of mounting is also recommended for larger die cushion installations.
